FBN Reveals the Inner Moglia
TD Ameritrade CEO Joe Moglia made an appearance of Fox Business to chat with David Asman, and revealed what he plans to do when he steps down from the CEO slot on October 1st:
David Asman: Back now to Joe Moglia who has been in charge of TD Ameritrade since about 2001. The question is, Joe, what now? You got your future to think about. You’re a relatively young man. Are you going to go back and coach Dartmouth or what?
Joe Moglia: Well David, number one, remember, I’m going to become chairman. I’ll still be involved with the media with regards to the market issues and what’s going on with the individual investor, but there’s a couple of other things I’d like to be able to do, for example I’d like to learn how to play the piano, I’d like to learn how to speak Italian. I’m probably going to write another book. I like bourbon, slow dancing, and blues.
Asman: I’m with you Joe!
Joe Moglia: I’m probably going to become the bourbon sipping, slow dancing, blues singing, Italian speaking, book writing, piano playing man.
Asman: I’m a bourbon sipper from way back as well.
Well I guess it beats starring in erectile dysfunction ads, like most guys his age.
And while bourbon is fine, Bulldog Gin is better. Get with the program guys.
Moglia will take over as Chairman from Joe Ricketts, and will likely continue to make occasional TV appearances, sharing his wit and wisdom.
