48 Hours: Rennsport

Did you miss Joe Kernen on Squawk Box friday? We did too...and we can’t be sure but he might be on assignment giving the new Porsche 911 GT3 RS a workout. Joe knows German cars and could tell you in a heartbeat what “RS” stands for.

Detroit’s struggles are good fodder for the front pages...but there are no worries at Porsche. The Cayenne might keep the lights on and pay the bills, but cars like the GT3 RS will remind you that enthusiasts still run the shop.

Not everyone can justify a new supercar...but even average Joe’s can go here and give the car a test drive of their own.

Speaking of Porsche...we will be back soon and finish up some business with Richard Sloan.

After all, it is almost spring.
