The BBC throws out an interesting statistic, though how verifiable it is we don’t know. According to the Brit new service, “Most 30-year-old traders can expect more than $500,000 extra in December’s pay packet.” And Rich Blake, senior editor of UTC fave publication Trader Monthly says that “Most guys are going to have the best year ever.” To meet the demand of all these well paid gents (and ladies), the Tribeca Grill has stocked up on more than 300 types of Chateauneuf du Pape.
That would be Chateauneuf du Pape (it’s all one word). And it’s not necessarily very good—depends on the maison.
There are better—some Pomerols for example. But Bordeaux probably has the best wines overall.
