CNBC and FT

It looks like CNBC is gearing up to expand their relationship with the Financial Times. Their columnists are being featured on a regular basis. CNBC’s parent, GE, dropped out of the bidding for Dow Jones after exploring a joint bid with Pearson, the FT’s parent. Assuming Murdoch succeeds in buying DJ, how long will it be until CNBC drops Dow Jones reporters completely? The content agreement they have in place runs through 2012. And, of course, you have the Brad Greenspan factor.
