CNBC Counterpunches FOX Business Network

Were you expecting the fight between FOX and CNBC to quiet down in Week 2? Neither were we:
....you can see some evidence of CNBC’s counter-marketing strategy. Playing off the bad joke that is the Fox News Channel’s “fair and balanced” motto, CNBC has been running ads touting its coverage as “unbiased.” Leaving aside whether you find that claim plausible - or even interesting - the actual full slogan is that CNBC provides “fast, accurate, actionable and unbiased business news”. Fortune
CNBC is running the ads on TheStreet.com, which should help Cramer & Co. crush their fourth-quarter earnings. Just kidding, of course, but doesn't Cramer make enough money from General Electric? TSC aside, maybe CNBC should accelerate the rollout of their HD+ service, which as I understand is only available on DirectTV. The definition is so sharp the rug on Joe Kernen's head appears lifelike, and the screen layout is pretty nifty. Assuming the mute button still works they have a winner there.
Comments:
CNBC lost many many long time viewers, when they went to the new version..I was a dedicated watcher, everyday, for 3-4 hours in the morning and as soon as I could get home in the afternoon, for more than 10 years.. The new version was and is , crap..I have not watched it for over a year now.. FOX has brought forth a winner and FOX will likely put CNBC out of business. I would suggest that the money hunny jump ship now, whilst she still has a chance at getting on FOX.
