Corus Bankshares (CORS-NASDAQ) has been a target of short sellers who think the company will choke to death on its loan underwriting to the sinking Florida real estate market. Today’s earnings release is going to provide a reprieve of sorts, but the recent price action has not exactly been inspiring confidence. As the sharp rallies in Movie Gallery over the past few years show, a stock can occasionally spike up as it grinds its way to zero. No Position
