Cramer’s Statement on Spitzer

Jim Cramer has known Eliot Spitzer forever, and has even invited Eliot on Mad Money several times since the show started three years ago.

Cramer looked genuinely stunned by today’s news, but addressed it head-on during tonight’s show, to his credit.

A lot of people will vouch for Jim outside of trading hours; beyond the theatrics he is a decent guy. Cramer’s life is a soap opera, and he has had his own personal issues to deal with the past few years. Maybe we are all getting wiser as we age.

Cramer had to address the events today, and handled it like a real pro, and a friend.

During STOP TRADING Cramer threw cold water on Gasparino’s comments about Spitzer having a love child and that there have been rumblings about this for a long time now.
