Dancing with Rupert

The end could be near for the soap opera that has been unfolding at Dow Jones & Company.  The Bancroft family’s dance with Rupert Murdoch is about to end. Latest reports are that it is too close to call, but the family has until 5 p.m. to announce their decision.  Rupert Murdoch is unlikely to sit still while the Bancroft’s fiddle, as evidenced by the hiring spree for his Fox Business News network. Sale or not, business journalism is going to offer up its own juicy headlines over the next year. The game of musical chairs, ala Liz Claman, is probably just beginning. No position DJ
