Mornings in NYC can be an ordeal. Crowded subways, lousy pushcart coffee and denizens who might send even Emily Post...postal.
Starting your day with CNBC’s Charlie Gasparino can be an ordeal as well. The street smart, pugnacious journalist does not play nice. And while we like to get our game face on before the 9:30 AM open, Charlie reminds us of our dark side. Warm fuzzies hit the road when Charlie is in the house.
We could not help but notice that the big lug has not been on CNBC for some time.
But don’t waste your time searching for his obituary, or calling Rao’s to see if he is holding court as he is prone to do.
Charlie is out on the road, likely doing a little promotional work for CNBC and perhaps sneaking in a little marketing for his new book that we hear will be released early next year. King of the Club: Richard Grasso and the Survival of the New York Stock Exchange by Charles Gasparino (Amazon)
Gasparino groupies might want to catch his coming appearance in San Antonio. It could be one of your last chances.
Because we still think Dick Grasso will whack him.
