Entourage: High Expectations
The Lash is back with her take on Entourage...
How many times have you said, “it’s just not what I expected” or “This is not what I paid for”.
Last week’s “Entourage” was all about expectations; Dana and the studio expected Billy to write a feature script adaptation of a book, but he didn’t.
Vince expected Eric would answer the phone and take care of the Billy problem, but he didn’t. Ari expected Dana would fire Billy, but she didn’t. Anna Faris’ boyfriend expected her new manager Eric to look like an old bearded guy, but he didn’t. And Eric expected Anna Faris would want to jump him, but she didn’t...yet.
This episode made me wonder, what happens when what you get isn’t what you expected? Do you embrace the new or are you so mad that your expectations aren’t met that you don’t even see what’s in front of you. (I think this happens A LOT with on-line dating but maybe it’s just me!)
I’m not sure how many episodes Anna Faris has signed on for but I expect Sloane will seen before the end of the season. I just can’t see Eric dating an actress and recent episodes showed that Sloane’s dating someone but she never mentioned who he is—I expect we will find out soon.
For Billy, Vince and Ari, the unexpected could be blockbuster.
For Dana and the studio, the unexpected is nerve racking.
As in everyday life, our expectations are often so high, it’s difficult to be happy with what we get--whether it’s a big business deal, a hot date or even the iPhone - (which i fell out of love with and returned)
For the loyal “Entourage” viewers, I expected this episode to be a bit funnier.
For the loyal blog readers out there, you may have expected my first edition after a long vacation to be better?
I’ll tune in Sunday, hopefully the writers will make Billy Walsh a regular addition to the Entourage.

Editors Note
The season is coming to a close soon, let see if the boys can close it out with a bang. The upcoming episode…
No Cannes Do
A code orange at LAX threatens the guys’ chances of getting to Cannes in time for the Medellin premiere. Ari attempts to assuage the feelings of Mrs. Ari and Lloyd, who each make it clear (in their own way) that they want to accompany him on the trip. Billy finds room in his script for Eric’s new client, but will Eric’s ambivalence ruin his relationship with her, and Vince?
WIth summer coming to an end you should spend a little time at the beach. Maybe you will even run into Adrian and his new girlfriend.
