Goldman’s New MD’s

The latest list of Goldman’s newest Managing Directors is out, and if you see your friends on the list, make sure they buy the next time you meet them for a drink.

The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. (NYSE: GS) today announced that it has invited 299 individuals to become Managing Directors as of December 1, 2007, the start of the firm’s fiscal year.

“We congratulate our new Managing Directors, whose leadership will continue to drive our success across the firm’s businesses and in those markets in which we operate around the world,” said Lloyd C. Blankfein, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.
