Insana Turns Down the Dial at CNBC

After nearly fifteen years, the news anchor with the decidely unanchorish looks is taking a step back from his role at CNBC, shifting down to a position as senior analyst while striking out on his own to start a newsletter company. Insana, whose contract was up, said his exit has nothing to do with broader changes underway at CNBC. “There was an opportunity that presented itself and CNBC gave me an opportunity to keep a solid relationship,” Insana told the Daily News yesterday. You go, girl!
