Two Wall Street firms--Goldman Sachs and Lehman Brothers--were among the top 5-ranked U.S. companies in a study commissioned by Barron’s. The rankings weighed four factors--stock performance over the past 52 weeks, median cash-flow return on investments over three years and over one year, and one-year sales growth adjusted for acquisitions and divestitures. Morgan Stanley must be happy that it wasn’t at the bottom of the list. That honor was reserved for Tenet Healthcare.
