Marcy Kaptur is a Total Idiot

The government won’t save us, no sir.

This is one of the most embarrassing gaffes, ever, from Bernanke’s testimony today, confusing Bernanke with Paulson.

Of course, being associated with Princeton’s Economic department is nearly as bad as being from Ohio.

Did you vote for her? Here is a little background info, courtesy of one of her constituents:

Marcy Kaptur is Toledo, Ohio’s congresswoman (my hometown). She is utterly ineffectual, yet Toledoans re-elect her over and over again. You NEVER hear about her making any kind of national news, and she has been in Congress I would guess at least 20 years - you would think by that time seniority alone would make someone want to hear what she has to say. She is so useless that Toledo doesn’t even get much in the way of pork (from a Democrat, no less!). This last humiliation shows once again that it is long past time for her to retire and let someone with some basic level of awareness take her seat. My hometown has been embarrassed enough.
