Still milking that Harvard MBA student’s notes on Warren Buffett’s speech at HBS. This quote came in response to a question about whether the proliferation of hedge funds has made it harder to find good investments:
Markets everywhere follow three stages--innovators, imitators and swarming incompetents. Opportunities are discovered, people swarm in and the opportunity is competed away.
And with a trillion dollars in the hands of smart people, he says, there are a lot fewer opportunities.
Huge fan of Buffett. Any way to get a copy of the notes?
