Murdoch Sweeps Liz Claman Off Her Feet
Have the defections from CNBC begun? Maybe the top brass don’t care if they lose their elder statesmen, and women. The youth movement has been in place since Ted David disappeared. Liz was no slouch, and the only ex-swimsuit model at the network.
First on TVNewser: Liz Claman has left CNBC, a high-level insider tells TVNewser. Claman anchored CNBC’s #1 rated business day program, Morning Call, which airs from 10-Noon ET.
Sources expect Claman to land at Fox Business Network, set to launch this fall. Claman has been a star anchor and reporter at the net (remember the Warren Buffett interviews?) since 1998.
It appears to be true, as she is no longer listed on the network’s website.
