What a difference two days make! With the lawsuit over the proposed Archipeligo acquisition settled, a seat on the New York Stock Exchange sold for the record price of $3.25 million on Wednesday--$225,000 more than the price on Monday (which was also a record at the time). The 1,366 members will vote on the acquisition on December 6. If passed, the seat holders would receive shares in the new company.
