SAC Capital Mulling Options

No, Stevie does not want to go public. But according to the FT, he is considering selling a minority stake to private investors. The Chinese government recently bought a stake in Blackstone. Are the Asians looking at SAC as well?
Given that Steve made about $900 million last year, I am not sure why he would bother. Sure, the getting is good, but dealing with a bunch of knuckleheads, even if they have little or no say, might be a move he regrets. Perhaps his move into the private equity arena necessitates it, however.
Just say no, Steve.
