Seat on the Big Board Sells for $3.6 Million

seatThe bid-ask spread on a NYSE seat is now $3.425 million to $3.8 million after a seat on the Big Board changed hands for for $3.6 million on Tuesday. This represented an uptick of $325,000 from the last sale on Friday but still off the high of $4 million that occurred on December 6. NYSE seats have rebounded strongly since falling to $975,000 in January, the lowest level in recent years.
