TheStreet.com recently brought on Talented Blonde Kristin Bentz and Managing Editor. She should bring a breath of fresh air to the website, which might be outgunned by the talent they have assembled over at Minyanville.

But the gloomy bearishness that permeates Minyanville never seems to lift. It is like Seattle over there. Money managers can be a cynical bunch, but the perma-bears at Minyanville might want to lighten up every now and then. Too, does the schtick not get a little old?

Bentz is aggressively courting new writers. She is looking for active money managers, which might be pose a bit of a compliance problem for many candidates.

As Managing Editor of RealMoney, I’m always on the lookout for talented writers who can further expand the breadth and depth of the content offered on the site. Right now, I’m searching for active money managers who want to share their opinions and expertise with our readers.

If you’ve got what it takes, please contact me at and attach your CV and some writing samples.

Look forward to hearing from you... Real Money.com

We have not subscribed to the site in quite a while, and have heard from some dissatisfied long-time subscribers that the acrimony between the writers was becoming painful to read.

Our advice to Bentz would be to balance bulls with bears, and keep the name calling to a minimum. We enjoyed the battle between RevShark and Cramer, but the rest of the crew need to get back to bringing value added commentary.

Bentz vs. Harrison. Coming to a browser near you.
