Strippers Bad for Business…Again

Stripping is the new insider trading. On the heels of Morgan Stanley’s firing of four bankers who had gone strip-club hopping with a client, six women have filed suit against their employer, Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein Services, complaining about sexual discrimination that included, yep, you guessed it, strip club outings. Our favorite bone-head move of the story? The supervisor who used to refer to one of the plaintiffs as the “Pamela Anderson of sales/trading.” Get a clue, dude.

this is crazy, when I used to work at Lehman Bros they gave this big speech using ML as an example about how that’s not tolerated but I guess when you’re a man and you’re shaking big money for the firm its a kinda don’t ask don’t tell thing… personally, I believe they all do it.  its tough to be a woman in the financial industry, period.
