The New York Stock Exchange will be closing two more rooms on the trading floor, and it is not far fetched to think the whole building could soon turn into luxury condo’s. We are not sure how that will sit with shareholders, who are fidgeting wondering if their management team will be making a bid to buy Nymex Holdings (NMX-NYSE). Condo’s are not quite as hot as derivatives these days, and John Thain might get outmaneuvered by the CME to pick up the franchise. The game of musical chairs will be ending soon, and Thain might not have a seat. no positions
