Videos from Barron's Art of Successful Investing conference, October 22nd
Oscar Schafer has been around Wall Street longer than most of us. He is old school, and they don't make them like Oscar any longer. Oscar is putting up good numbers this year, particularly on the short side. In this video with Michael Santoli you can see his approach to shorting.
Stephanie Pomboy had the chutzpah to walk away from a great gig on Wall Street, working for Ed Hyman at ISI, and start her own shop. Her father was a gold bug, but she is a little broader in scope, although her heritage is evident. She is looking for bad things to unfold, to say the least....
Finally, Fred Hickey talks valuation etc. about Google and Apple, Inc. Hickey's bearish views are well known, but hear it from the horses mouth. Fighting the tape is a bitch, but Hickey certainly has his moments.
