If you are like me, you spend more time these days watching web based video than television, and it is hard to see the trend reversing, particularly in the financial media space.

While Wallstrip did the heavy lifting 18 months ago, Aaron Task at Yahoo!'s Tech Ticker and Stacy Delo and the good people at MarketWatch have kept us moving forward. But there is a wealth of value-added video out here, and we will continue to put some of it in front of you. My clueless friends in the investment community who did not have the time or ability to surf until they received their recent pink slips certainly need some hand holding and direction..

Quint Tatro's Tickerville is among the best; perhaps you have seen Quint on his frequent appearances of CNBC's Fast Money or his stuff on Minyanville. Even Carter Braxton Worth could take a page from Quint's playbook, and should consider launching a firewall protected video site to his BuySide clients. But until Carter gets on the ball, Tickerville and a host of sites have the field to themselves. Take advantage of it, perhaps you will be like me, and have a vulcan mind meld with Quint's Tape Talk video's. Check out last nite's video here.

Quint's popularity is hitting 52-week highs around these parts, and after watching today's piece, posted at 12:44PM, you will see why.

Gary “Chartman” Smith popularized the T2108 (percentage of stocks below their 40-day moving average-we are now at 17-18 year lows) on Real Money years ago, and Quint has it in his quiver of technical indicators as well. It is flashing a buy signal here.

Quint has some good food for thought, including the impact of double inverse ETF’s and the new trading instruments that are changing the game at the margin. Whither, VIX?

Evolve or die, people.
