Tigers Verlander throws No-Hitter

That last time the Tigers had a pitcher throw a no-hitter was April 7, 1984. That was the year the Tigers started 35-5 and won the World Series. I listened to that ‘84 game on the radio-it was a chilly Saturday afternoon day game.  Ernie Harwell got me through it- he was perhaps the greatest baseball radio announcer of All-Time. The Tigers ore in the hunt.  Congratulations, Justin.
