And all along we thought Wall Street was the place to make money. Man, we did we pick the wrong career.

"Lynn University”??? Is this some pillar of advanced education that I’m not aware of? John Silber’s salary used to be a scandal but at least BU is a large school with a major reputation. Lynn University’s entire student body, undergrad and grad, is under 2500 students!

Also, think about the cost of living where most of these schools are located. These dudes are living like kings!

Have a look at Lynn University’s web site and the history of the school.  Don Ross basically started it from a bankrupt Catholic university.  He and his family lived in dorms, put up their own money etc. to get the school going again.  It was clearly a labor of love.  The recent news articles clearly do not present the whole picture.  Without Donald Ross, there literally would be no Lynn University.

Plus Donald Ross has been at Lynn for something like 34 or 35 years, and from the article, about 4.5MM is deferred compensation/retirement.
